Due to significant expansion and some awesome internal promotions, we are partnering with this provider to hire Roofing Sales Leaders.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader to make a significant contribution to a successful company that values internal growth and acknowledges exceptional performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and achieving sales targets within their designated territory.

As a Branch Territory Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will encompass strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the branch's consistent growth and profitability.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Oversee and guide the sales team to establish clear, measurable sales objectives and quotas for designated territories and clients. This includes developing comprehensive sales strategies, setting realistic targets, and ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Active Client Engagement: Participate actively in customer roofing inspections, providing expert guidance and building strong relationships with clients to foster trust and secure new business.
  • Performance Motivation: Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed individual and collective sales goals through inspirational leadership, clear communication, and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Skill Enhancement and Development: Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and ongoing guidance to sales staff, empowering them to enhance their skills, improve performance, and adapt to evolving market demands.
  • Performance Monitoring and Feedback: Implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems for sales team performance, providing constructive feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers and clients. This involves understanding their needs, anticipating future requirements, and proactively addressing any concerns to drive recurring sales and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and stay ahead of industry trends, enabling the branch to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Financial and Operational Management:

  • Budgetary Oversight: Efficiently manage the branch’s budget, expenses, and financial resources, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimizing resource allocation to achieve financial objectives.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate regular and comprehensive reports on sales performance, market trends, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics for management review, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless workflows, achieve synergistic outcomes, and contribute to overall company objectives.
  • Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure that the branch operates in strict compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, upholding the company's reputation and minimizing operational risks.
What you bring:
  • 5-10 years of roofing industry experience
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Strong sales background with a history of hitting targets and boosting revenue
  • Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, offering guidance and support
  • Experience with strategic planning to develop long-term branch goals and strategies
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies to optimize operations and improve customer experience
